“Experience anxiety relief through fun, therapeutic improv - helping you build confidence and embrace imperfection.”

Improv for Anxiety & Self-Trust: A Playful Approach to Healing

Improv is all about being in the moment—trusting yourself without overthinking. And while that might sound scary, it’s actually something we all did naturally as kids when we played. This group is about reconnecting with that part of you—the one that knows how to show up, take risks, and have fun.

We'll be using beginner-friendly improv games, specially chosen for this kind of group. Along the way, we’ll weave in elements of IFS (aka “parts work”) and somatic grounding techniques to help you move through any fear that comes up. You won’t be alone—everyone will be stepping outside their comfort zone together in a safe, supportive space.

  • You loosened the grip of perfectionism and allowed yourself to simply…be.

  • You embraced the courage to express yourself, even when it felt messy or imperfect.

But right now…

You might find yourself:

  • Worrying and overthinking about what others think.

  • Holding back out of fear of making mistakes or “getting it wrong”.

About the facilitator:

Hi! I’m Bella, a licensed therapist specializing in trauma recovery, anxiety relief and helping people reconnect with their bodies. I created this group because I know anxiety can feel paralyzing - and how powerful it can be to face it in a safe, playful environment. I believe healing doesn’t always have to be serious - it can be messy, fun, and even joyful.

Improv has been a game-changer for me personally - and for my clients. I started practicing improv in 2020 to face my fears and work on my performance anxiety (I was terrified when I started). But, as time went on, my anxiety truly started to lessen, and I was actually having fun. I’ve even performed in 3 live shows so far! Improv has been one of the most freeing things I’ve ever done for myself.

I’m here to guide you through this process with compassion, warmth, and a lot of laughter along the way.

-Bella
